I have always had a love for clothing. If you ever ask my mother she could tell you story after story, on how I would storm out of stores when I was younger if I did not get what I wanted. I have always loved the newest fashion. I used to have the cutest outfits for my self, that was until I had children.
Once Eleanor was born, I began to sew and became obsessed with making her cute outfits. My taste in even the children's clothing has evolved as they get older. It was Gymboree, then Gap, then Naartjie, then customs and now I can't get enough of Mini Boden. (I am also currently loving Matilda Jane, Room Seven & Misha Lulu.) If you are one of my friends and reading this you are probably thinking, "I recently got a Boden catalog." Yes, that would be courtesy of Yours Truly. See, Boden has this refer a friend program and I get $5 for ever new address I give them. And don't try and add some new names...I have probably already entered every name in Pottowattamie County!
In early August the Fall Boden orders started arriving at my house. Some of it was great, some went back to Boden, and I fell in love with these polka dot pants. Eleanor does not like pants, never has and refuses to wear them most of the time. But, she loved these! They are a very hard pant to match so I ordered a large pair of pants and am using them as fabric. I am planning on getting some custom tops like this on eBay later in the week.
Check back later today for a post on Ella's first soccer game!
(How do you like my new camera? I love it, but have A TON to learn!)
