She is growing up...
As parents you want to give your children the best of everything. One thing David and I are unable to give our children is...good hair. We both have thin, fine, pathetic hair. Lucy's hair has been very fine and WHITE since the day she was born. Today for the first time she wore piggys like her big sister, Ella. They were so excited that they had the same hair-style. Here they are doing the happy-hair-dance.

As promised...Jimmy. Here is a cute picture I took of him yesterday. As you can see he has his TWO bottom teeth coming in on the bottom. He is starting to look like he is thinking about crawling, but still has a long way to go.
I had a friend, who recently had a baby. I am going to see her this weekend and FINALLY give her a gift. I have wanted to make these for a long time and finally did last night. How do you like him in his new onesie?

I do love Jimmy....
As I re-read my last few posts, poor Jimmy has been left out. I do assure you that he is part of this family. There will be more Jimmy stories/pictures in the coming days....
Snow day & sick...
Eleanor, 3, LOVES preschool. She loves the ride there, the friends, the songs, the learning, the snack, the ride home...she loves it ALL. This was her on the couch this morning waiting for her ride. Then the phone rang....preschool was canceled. If anyone knows how to explain to a 3 1/2 year old what a snow day is, please, let me know. She was so sad.
Lucy Jane is sick. And being the mean mom that I am, I made her try on a new outfit. I made this during her nap. It is for her to wear to her cousin, Emily's 4th birthday party next week. I still need to make something for Eleanor. It is at a Rainbow Playsystems dealer, so dresses are out. Too much climbing, swinging & sliding to wear a dress. Any ideas?
After this picture was taken, I put her in her pajamas, wrapped her in a blanket and she sat on my lap for about two hours, while I watched Fox News. Sheppard Smith is my FAVORITE. I think Jimmy has a bit of a bug too and a fever.

Snow Snow Go Away....
Here is Lucy's new dress that I made today. I am a little worried about the position of the two 'flowers' on the chest. What do you think????

Sunday with the Scotts
The first thing that Miss Ella likes to do every morning IMMEDIATELY after breakfast is get dressed. This morning she took it upon herself to pick her own outfit and put it together. The scary part about this is what her father said, "She actually go the colors right." HE WAS SERIOUS!!! What part of green/pink and animal print go together??? Don't worry...she did not leave the house in this outfit.

We took a family trip to the mall today and had lunch while we were there. Here is how Jimmy spent the lunch hour.

Sewing up a Storm
I have attempted in recent years to start a blog. So here is attempt number FOUR!!!
Things are great here in Iowa. It has been cold, but we are hoping to see green grass soon! Eleanor, will be four in May and has become quite a sweet child. Lucy, who will be two in May is a hilarious child and will have you in stitches. Jimmy, the baby is growing up way too fast. He is such a little man and has the greatest smile. He also thinks his sisters are so funny and could sit and watch them play for hours.
It has been REALLY cold in Iowa the past month...so I have been sewing. Here are some of my latest creations. I think that if I keep making summer clothes...summer will be here faster!
She is getting so much better with her posing!!!
