Thanks Grandma & Grandpa

My dad was holding Jimmy and I told my mom to jump into the picture.  Then I decided to do this picture with all three of the kids. I am so glad that I did because I LOVE how they turned out.

Eleanor the fish

Eleanor had such a great time swimming with her cousins in Arizona.  Here she is jumping into the deep end.  By the last day she was 'diving' into the pool.
Here she is floating on her back.
Here is Miss Lucy where she was most of the trip OUTSIDE the pool.  She had a few close calls last summer where she lost her footing in the zero-entry pool and she has NOT forgotten!  She will be getting swim lessons this summer!
Here is Jimmy in the pool with Grandma Patti.

Lucy meets Baby Lucy....

I really think Lucy Jane thinks the reason for this trip was to meet Lucy Mae.
Lucy is my cousin Molly & Alvaro's first daughter.  She is named after his Grandmother Lucille.
Here is Lucy in Uncle Ty's arms going out to meet Lucy Mae.
How precious is this????
Lucy Jane holding Lucy Mae.
Eleanor had to hold the baby too!!!!
As we were boarding the plane this morning Lucy heard a baby cry.  She turned to me and said, "Baby Lucy is sad we going bye bye!"

6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Here are the cousins in order, Anna (6), Emily (5), Eleanor (4), Jacob (3), Lucy (2) and Jimmy (1).
Isn't this a great picture?  This is at our favorite restaurant down there. The food is good, but the kids could care less.  Their favorite part is that they LOVE to feed the ducks.
Here is Grandma Patti handing out some of the food to feed the ducks.
Jimmy was getting REALLY closet to the ducks!
We decided this was a "Sara duck".  You see this duck was over the top with her fru fru on her head.

Horses and a little sex education...

We tried out a new place in Scottsdale called McDonald Farm.  The kids were so excited to ride ponies.
We first visited some baby pigs and a baby donkey that were so little.  Eleanor was not impressed at the smell of the place and commented numerous times.  She is definitely my daughter!
Here is our one attempt at a family picture! This will probably not make it to our 2009 Christmas card.
Here is Miss Lucy riding Wendy.
Here is Miss Eleanor riding Wendy.
Here is Jimmy riding Wendy. He was NOT into this and by the end of his 2 minute ride, the hat was off!!!
And here is where we got the biggest chuckle that day.
Anna, who is 6 saw this pony and announced.  "I think it is a girl because it has long hair."  All the adults began laughing as we looked at the pony.
Anna, who is very sharp and funny looked again and said, "Oooh...nevermind!"

The train park...

Scottsdale has the greatest train park that our kids just love!  We went early one morning to kill some time before we went swimming.  We also rode a carousel, but my children were scared to death.  I was holding onto Jimmy as Eleanor was behind me telling me how scared she was. The last thing I thought to do was grab my camera...

How cute is this picture of Grandma Patti & Jimmy???
Best buddies- Eleanor & Emily are eight weeks apart.

Fun with the family...

We always have a great time in Arizona.  The weather was great, the kids had a great time and it was very relaxing!!!
Here are some shots from the first few days.

My dad and I enjoying dinner outside at their house.
David and I smiling because the kids were in BED!!!
Here were the six kids the next morning.  While we were there we celebrated Emily's 5th birthday and Anna losing her first tooth!
Here are the kids (minus Jimmy) waiting for us to get our day started.
