My new favorite picture.....
This is my new favorite picture. I absolutely love it in black and white. This is a pretty true 'captured moment' of how the girls feel towards their little brother. They just adore him and are contstanly hugging Jimmy. Doesn't he look so dapper in his bow tie?

The Easter Bunny
Today we finally went to see the Easter Bunny. I have been promising this to Ella for weeks. Ella was so excited to get to sit next to him. Lucy was not quite sure what to think of the bunny and I was a little scared to let 'him' hold Jimmy. Some of you might remember, but our mall's Easter Bunny was arrested three years ago TWO hours after Ella sat on his lap, for assault. Nice, huh???? It was an extra special trip to the mall because David came and met us for lunch and so that he could see the kids sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. I tried my best to get some good pictures, but with three little ones that is a tall order. At least no one was crying!!!
I love these outfits I made for the girls. Ella could not stop twirling. I think I will be making more in this style in the near future.

Fun in the Sun
We just returned from a fun filled five days in Arizona. We stayed with my mom and dad. The kids had a great time with their cousins. Here are some pictures.
Emily and Ella had SO much fun together and got matching swimsuits. This is one of the days we were able to swim in Grandma & Grandpa's pool
Here are Lucy, Ella, Anna & Emily at the Horse/Pony riding place. Anna was SO excited!
Here is my little cowboy....Cowboy Jimmy.
Thanks for such a fun time Grandpa & Grandma!!!

Sad day.....fun family!!!
My cousin Emily, sent us these pictures from my Grandpa's wake last month. Here is my Grandma with her three sons. My dad is in the back.
Here is Grandma with all eight cousins.

Here are MOST of the adults. My brother-in-law had to work and my husband had just left the wake to take our kids home to the babysitter. My family is on the right. My dad is sitting in the dark suit, my mom is behind him, my sister is seated next to him, I am behind her and my brother is in the blue shirt.

Lot of fun, lots of sleep and staph...
Today was cousin Emily's 4th birthday party at Rainbow. The kids had so much fun. Jimmy loved watching all of the action and boy did the girls play hard!!!
Lucy loved the swings. She was in here for about an hour of the party. Can you see the excitement on her face.
Here is Eleanor (jumping) with cousin Emily (in the red), the birthday girl! They are only 8 weeks apart and great friends.

After 2 hours of playing we went back to Aunt Allison house for more playing. This was after 5 hours of playing with her cousins. She was exhausted!!!

Here is tired Lucy. Does it look like she was in a fight? Nope...staph. I noticed last week that she had a sore on her face, but chalked it up to acne. Yesterday, when I saw that sore number 2, 3 & 4 were all around here eye I took her to the doctor. Good thing because she has a staph infection and it is VERY close to her eye. Poor baby. She is on some medicine and hopefully it will clear up soon.

Still cold in Iowa.
I continue to sew away hoping that spring will arrive soon. We had temps in the 60's on Saturday. Here is Miss Lucy in her new sunflower outfit that I made for her to wear in Arizona.
Here is Eleanor in her new halter top that I made. This one is so cute and honestly took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. I think I might make this pattern into a dress, too.
